Over the past 12 years my career has been very dynamic. In addition to my career in education I did co-own a road maintenance company and am the co-owner of a 200 head cow/calf farming operation which also includes 30 hives of bees, 20 beautiful laying hens, 2 loyal dogs, 3 sassy cats and a garden which includes a small-but very productive- greenhouse. I am a mother of 3 (twins, and a single) who happily follow me when I coach; officiate; supervise and organize fundraisers; go on equipment parts runs; plan my teaching assignments; or go on our sporadic, but numerous, adventures. My passions include animal health; gardening; land conservation; as well as teaching, modeling, and promoting active lifestyle through coaching various sports, biking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, hunting, fishing, hiking and farming (a guaranteed CrossFit routine provided every day!).
