MARILYN BOSSERT Past President, ARTA Retirement marks the end of working for someone else and the beginning of living for yourself reads the quote on Marilyn’s favorite coffee mug. Following a rewarding career teaching junior high English, she joined her local branch, and shortly thereafter, became a member of the Alberta Retired Teachers’ Association Board of Directors. ARTA’s vision promotes a healthy, active and enhanced quality of life for retired people, a vision that is wholeheartedly endorsed by Marilyn. She encourages those approaching retirement to start planning early, taking the time to consider all the realities of retirement.
