Keely holds a Bachelor of Science with a major in Earth and Atmospheric Science, and a minor in Psychology. She has completed certificates in Innovative Thinking and Positive Education. Prior to joining APEGA, Keely was the Camp & Workshop Coordinator and Associate Director of DiscoverE, an organization out of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta, focused on promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) to youth. She has directly engaged 1412 students, and indirectly impacted over 99,000 youth across Alberta and the Northwest Territories. Keely is passionate about inspiring the next generation to think outside the box, seek-out learning opportunities, and pursue task mastery.
