Laura Webb

Holy Redeemer Catholic High School
Assistant Principal
To satisfy my passion for mathematics and share my love of learning with others I have been teaching for the past eight years at a Catholic junior/senior high school in the small town of Edson, AB where I was born and raised. I grew up on the family farm raising cattle along with five siblings; three sisters and two brothers. Our family has expanded to include two wonderful nieces and four incredible nephews for me to spoil. I love basketball, canoeing, and bouldering. Last year I completed my Masters of Education in Educational Studies at the University of Alberta with a research focus on Authentic Assessment. In August 2020 I jumped into an Assistant Principal position where I have been navigating the responsibilities of my new leadership role while continuing as a classroom teacher part time and grappling with the new normal of COVID restrictions.
