Learn Where You Are: Experiential, Place-Based Learning for Grades 4-8
Place-based and experiential learning are powerful strategies for engaging students in meaningful, curriculum connected learning. This workshop will explore a variety of GreenLearning’s free, STEM-based programs on climate change and energy. Educators will discover a variety of award-winning lessons, activities and digital tools designed to immerse learners in their own natural and social communities. This session is suitable for educators in grade 4-8 learning in-person, online, through asynchronous and/or synchronous environments.
