Mixed Media Visual Journals: Project Ideas, Media and Techniques (Part 1 - Substrates and Grounds)
In Part 1 of Mixed Media Visual Journals Mike will discuss different substrates and work through techniques for building grounds. We will demonstrate methods using four examples as we build up four different mixed media compositions. Stencils, transfers, resists, layering and collage are some of the techniques we will cover along with ideas for assignments and teaching strategies that will engage your learners.
