School presentations and the innovative 'Gardener-in-Residence Program' are linked to, and go above and beyond, the Alberta curriculum. All learning with goodworm also incorporates social justice and social-emotional learning concepts.
Most popular elementary school presentations include: THE BEE'S KNEES and WORMS EAT WASTE. Most popular secondary presentations are FOOD JUSTICE.
Bio: All presentations are taught by the Founder and Program Director of goodworm, Nicola Gunter. Nicola is a Mother, Auntie, Educator, Social Worker, Organic Master Gardener, and Urban Farmer. She has lived and gardened in zones 3b, 7b, and 5a.
