Teachers over the past year have indicated that their was tremendous learning loss and gaps seen in their youngest Kindergarten learners. Now presently in Grade One many of these students need to rebuild, and learn basic concepts including: subitizing, number sense, counting forward and back from a given number, learning numbers to 10, 20, doubles, make 10 strategy, comparing numbers, pattern counting and more. This very basic workshop will help you rebuild Kindergarten and early numeracy concepts that lay the foundation for Grade 1 and 2. Handout will include gameboards, concept skill checklists, journal ideas. IF VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS WILL NEED TO HAVE A DECK OF CARDS AND 8 REGULAR DICE. Come prepared to play my favorites!
