Come prepared to play our favorite games for developing early literacy concepts including: learning the alphabet and its' sounds, rhyme, vocabulary boosters, spelling simple and multi-syllable words, fun with all kinds of words... homonyms, synonyms and more. Games will incorporate letter tiles, word decks, and literacy dice, you will also be shown how to adapt the games and activities with easy to find items from the dollar store. Handout will include gameboards, center templates, and letter cards. Ideas for social distancing will be shared as well as ideas for differentiating the games to accommodate all learners. GREAT for ESL students. IF VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS NEED TO PRINT OFF THE PDF AND CUT APART THE LETTER CARDS SO THEY CAN PLAY ALONG.
