The main goal of this session is to introduce teachers to a variety of recently published graphic novels suitable for younger readers, with the hope that such texts may find their way into classrooms, whether as part of the official curriculum or on the shelves of classroom libraries. Graphic novels will be organized according to thematic categories, such as: Fantasy and the Supernatural, Friendship and Romantic Relationships, Indigenous Stories, and Memoir and Non-Fiction.
