Supporting Independent Reading to increase Stamina, Fluency, & Joy: In-class book clubs give students the opportunity to select what they read, to have meaningful discussions with peers, and to conference/book talk with teachers. This session will discuss tools for assessing progress, encouraging goal-setting and reflection, and analyzing student needs.
