Making Canada’s Food Guide (CFG) relevant and engaging for junior high students is possible! Our new, free junior high programs can help you do exactly that. We are excited to share two programs with you in this session: • CTF Foods: DIY Meals and Snacks • Health: Food for Me Both programs are designed for junior high students to explore CFG by creating meals and snacks using a variety of foods. Using fun and colorful videos and activities, students will practice creating meals and snacks that feature foods from the CFG Plate, explore the benefits of variety, examine what factors influence food choices, and culminate their learning with an engaging final challenge. Teach Nutrition resources are developed by the Registered Dietitians at Dairy Farmers of Canada. See them all at teachnutrition.ca
