Ian has worked with youth from at-risk environments while serving as the principal of the BRICK Learning Centre in Ponoka, AB. Through a trauma-informed lens, the BRICK creates an environment that holds students accountable while it truly puts students’ need first. He is also passionate about the health and wellness of his staff, ensuring to mitigate compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma. Ian is most proud to enter into the world of grandparent-hood. He loves his family, and yes, even Capri, the 100lb lapdog, Husky.
